Istanbul University Center of Excellence (IUKAMM-CTC) started an ambitious Turkish Research Council Project entitled INFLAMIST, investigating the inflammasome-mediated inflammation disease and, particularly, familiar Mediterranean fever. The ultimate goal is to produce high technology drugs and develop biomarkers to solve this important health issue in Turkey.
