Hosted by iACT Kyoto, these meetings provided a platform for insightful discussions and strengthened connections among members.
The SBM focused on the strategic direction of ICN, member engagement, and initiatives for expanding the network. The meeting also welcomed new members, further enhancing the diversity and strength of ICN’s global presence.
The AGM brought together representatives from ICN member organizations, demonstrating the collective dedication to advancing clinical research worldwide. The event provided a space for in-depth discussions on clinical trial standards, patient engagement, and the integration of innovative technologies. With presentations on groundbreaking initiatives like ClinicalTrials.SG and digital financial platforms, the AGM reinforced ICN’s commitment to supporting global collaboration, advancing clinical trials, and fostering the next generation of research professionals.
CRGo World Conference & ICN Symposium
The CRGo World Conference & ICN Symposium on November 29, 2023, was an exceptional event for international knowledge exchange in clinical research governance. With esteemed experts from WHO, CIOMS, and ICN sharing invaluable insights, this event proved indispensable for professionals in biomedical and clinical research. Drawing over 1600 online participants, it spotlighted immense interest and engagement, showcasing the dedication of ICN members and the invaluable contributions of HKU CTC.
ICN Steering Board Meeting And Annual General Meeting 2023
The ICN Steering Board Meeting (SBM) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on November 28, 2023, were defining moments for our collective ICN path. Hosted graciously by Hong Kong University Clinical Trials Center (HKU CTC), these gatherings exceeded expectations.
The SBM, with 18 participants including 9 out of 10 SB members and 2 ICN Scientific Advisory Board members, focused on ICN’s future trajectory and member engagement strategies. Notably, the SB welcomed a new ICN member and a Scientific Advisory Board member, enriching our network. The subsequent AGM boasted nearly 50 attendees from 17 ICN member organizations, alongside 3 Scientific Advisory Board members, demonstrating unwavering commitment to driving the ICN vision forward.
ICN Members Visit HKU CTC’s Phase 1 Unit
On November 27, 2023, ICN members were graciously invited to an exclusive visit to the Phase 1 Unit at the Hong Kong University Clinical Trials Center (HKU CTC). As an member of ICN, HKU CTC opened its doors, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to explore their state-of-the-art facilities and gain firsthand insights into HKU-CTCs research methodologies. This visit underscored the collaborative spirit within our ICN community, fostering knowledge exchange and innovation among member institutions.
